The team at TRANSATLANTIC Partners includes business executives with experience running and advising companies and their business development activities in Europe and the U.S.. Other team members include a U.S. based business broker and an international lawyer.
Eliot Norman, President:
Eliot is a former International Law Partner at Williams Mullen, a 230 lawyer firm with offices in Washington, D.C. , Virginia, North and South Carolina. A U.S. citizen, he resides in Richmond, Virginia. At Williams Mullen, he gained national and international recognition for his expertise in immigration law and regularly advised on Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) projects by French and other European companies entering the U.S. market. He speaks French fluently, studied at Sciences Po in Paris, and received his degrees from Yale and Boston College Law School. He retired from Williams Mullen in January, 2019, and founded TRANSATLANTIC Partners LLC in June, 2019. |
Olivier Attia, Partner:
Mr. Attia is a leading technological entrepreneur and responsible for creating a host of breakthrough technologies throughout his career. Mr Attia runs both a consulting company from New York, Gershon Consulting, helping established European businesses to expand in the US and a digital marketing company from San Francisco, ChoYou, offering comprehensive set of digital marketing services to medium and large IT corporations. Before that, he was Chief Executive Officer of Audionamix, the leading provider of audio source separation technology focused on providing the entertainment industry with innovative solutions after being an innovator as CEO of Scanbuy, the largest holder of patents in the mobile barcode industry and ClickOVA, the first cloud based mobile backup solution. Attia holds both a Master's degree in Marketing and an Engineering degree in Information System Management from University Paris, Dauphine. He also earned an honors degree in Physics and Computer Science from University Paris, Pierre et Marie Curie. |
Bruno J. Ferrand, Partner:
Bruno Ferrand is a French national and a US resident with over 30 years’ experience in the European and American aerospace industry. During those years, Bruno worked at companies such as Airbus (for 21 years in France and in the USA) and Latecoere (for almost 10 years) where he was the President and CEO of the US branch, Latecoere International. Early 2019, Bruno started NECT2US, an aerospace consulting company that mainly specializes in helping middle market companies setting their footprint overseas. Over his career, Bruno was actively involved in the Procurement & Supply Chain Management (Europe & USA), the Customer Liaison (Program, Commercial & Integration, specifically with the Boeing Company) and the Industrial Development (in Mexico). He holds a degree in International Business from the Ecole Atlantique de Commerce (Audencia Group / Nantes - France). |
Olivier Jacqueau, partner:
Olivier Jacqueau has 35 years' business experience in Europe and the United States and has worked in management and strategy consulting for real estate investment companies and the import/export of innovative products. He is a board member of a large industrial company specializing in the design, manufacture and marketing of hydrostatic transmissions. Mr. Jacqueau holds a Master's degree from EDHEC Business School. |
Philip James, Partner:
Philip James has over 25 years working in the international business and manufacturing sector and is currently engaged as director of global business development projects for a billion-dollar business based in Europe. Responsibilities include; negotiating global supply contracts, group business development, international sales strategy, pricing model development, supplier relationship management, M&A, and global marketing strategy. With many years of experience, primarily in global markets for manufacturing industries, Philip has developed the knowledge and ability to provide answers to most business, strategic, marketing design, and contractual issues, plus the expertise to create and match right-fit strategies. Philip is originally from the UK, now based in Virginia USA, and has advanced qualifications in both chemistry and business. |
Gavin Raphael, Partner:
Mr. Raphael has over 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry, where he has worked in mergers and acquisitions, research, strategic planning and financial analysis. During his over 20 years in corporate America, he worked at several companies, including: Wachovia Securities, Philip Morris International and Rohm and Haas Chemical Company. Mr. Raphael possesses a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Vermont and an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is also actively involved in the community, having served as Board President for the Sabot at Stony Point School. Additionally, he is an Adjunct Professor in the University of Richmond’s Executive MBA Program. He was born and raised in London, England. |
